New Music: Introducing Independent Artist 'Jew'

Here on HipHopWeeklyRadio we love to feature your favorite hip hop musicians but also want to feature new and upcoming talent as well. An artist by the name of 'Jew' has been creating quite a buzz on social media. With his catchy punch lines and hard hitting rhythmic beats, his music is sure to be unforgettable. We got a chance to chat and learn a little bit more about the man behind the tattoos and here's what we found out:

Twenty-Five year old rapper 'Jew' , real name Cedric West is a young rapper born and raised on the Southside of Atlanta. Jew began dabbling in music at a very young age and started to find his way in being creative with his words. He remembers in elementary school when he began to write but never took it too serious until about two years ago. After recording in the studio other people began to hear some of his music and continued to tell him how talented he was. After so many times he decided that maybe this is something he should pursue. You would think that with only two years of serious rapping that he may not have the credibility to be classified as a 'rapper', but his music speaks for itself. There are some out there who have been on the music scene much longer but what they lack is the ability to appeal to people. Jew on the other hand appeals to the streets, the women, and the young men out there grinding just like him. In such a short time he's been receiving so much love and respect that it's exciting to think where his career will be in the next few years...

Ever since then he hasn't looked back and has been going at the music full speed. Jew's a super talented artist with musical inspirations from Tupac, Michael Jackson, Pimp C, Outkast and Boosie. With such a wide variety of artists that he looks up to we are sure that his music will be timeless. It's very refreshing to hear a hip hop artist that has real talent and lyrical flair. Jew is the definition of how hard work and dedication can get you anywhere. The message of not being afraid to go after what is meant for you is a huge aspect of what his artistry conveys.
