Helping at Home

On Friday February 26th, 2016, I was able to join a host of young successful peers in efforts to "Restore The Village", specifically my village. It was truly a blessing, to give grains of knowledge to feed the growing hunger for progression of the young citizens of Clayton County and ideal students at Mundy's Mill High School- my alma mater.

Thanks to the organizers at Project Inspire Inc. for creating a platform that promotes leadership, unity and cooperation. We were able share our stories and experiences with young adults that were eager to know about the bump around the road. Hopefully we were able to inspire one student to be an individual, to live above the influence. Hopefully we were able to inspire someone to look inward to search for their purpose, work hard, focus and get engaged with their civic responsibilities.

In closing, I was honored to be in the company of these locally talented youth. I was honored they saw me with reverence. I pledge I will continue to do my part to make an impact in the lives of the youth and the community. I promise I will continue to serve.
